With the introduction of electric dehydrators the drying process was improved but most manufacturers offer round stack-able models with a heating unit in the bottom moving moisture up through the racks causing uneven drying and longer drying times. The VegiKiln dehydrator includes a rear mounted drying system that moves the air across each tray for even consistent drying and faster drying times than other models. No tray rotation required.
