Instructions: To cure meats properly and within food safety guidelines, it is very important to use the correct amount of Pink Curing Salt.

To cure meats, Pink Curing Salt (Prague Powder #1) inhibits the growth of bacteria and maintains the flavor and appearance of meat. Failure to follow proper instructions could affect health, taste and quality of food.

This curing salt contains 6.25% sodium nitrite. It has a slightly tinted color so it is not confused with regular table salt. 

Usage: Use 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon per pound of meat.
