Easy Red Pepper Beef Jerky Recipe!

Here is a HOT red pepper recipe with A LOT of heat so keep a nice cold beverage close by.

Slice a beef bottom round with the grain (tougher chew) or against the grain (softer chew) which is most preferred. Mix all the ingredients in a plastic bowl or zip lock bag - sea salt, cane sugar, liquid smoke, Worcestershire sauce, water, garlic powder, Prague powder #1 (Weston curing salt), and red peppers. Add the sliced meat and let this jerky meat marinate in the mixture for 12 - 24 hrs hours. Drained the beef jerky slices in a colander and place them on a cookie sheet, then add as much extra crushed red pepper as you like before placing in a dehydrator, smoker or oven. This little trick is how you keep the red pepper on your beef jerky slices.

Meat:
1lb beef bottom round

Marinade:

¼ tsp Prague Powder #1 (Weston curing salt)
1 tsp sea salt
1 tbsp cane sugar
1 tsp liquid smoke (mesquite)
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp red pepper
½ cup cold water
